In reply to <a href="https://blog.fjetland.com/2016/09/kenya-2014-day-6-a-full-day-drive-into-the-mara-reserve/#comment-2297">Jeroen</a>.

Hi Jeroen,

Thanks so much for leaving a comment and for the kind words!

Going to Kenya really is an amazing experience that I'd recommend to anyone. But there are some tricks to get the best possible experience, and especially if photography is a part of it. I'll try to share some of those in an upcoming post, but generally speaking I'd rather save up for another year than going "too economical". And boy would I like to visit the Maldives too. Certainly on my bucket list!

Once I'm done with the trip posts I'll certainly try do a post on gear I use and some reflections on my decisions and so on. Until then, if you're curious about particular shots, I leave the exif info in the pics, so if you have an integrated exif viewer in your browser, checking out camera and lens is pretty easy :)

Make sure you sign up for updates by mail, or use RSS or whatever to get notified of new posts. Hopefully it wouldn't be 7 months until the next update but I can pretty much guarantee you won't get overwhelmed by the number of posts ;)

Thanks again and keep shooting!

Awesome!

Thank you so extremely much for sharing these amazing photos allowing everybody to see this and other sides, of the world. Definitely am enjoying your series!

Going to Kenya is on the big big list of things to go see myself, just need to convince the OH that we need to go there for a bit before going again to the Maldives for discovering more what lives below the water ;)

If you have time, please do a gear post, would love to know what you are using for shooting in general, but more importantly why you use those things and what the pros/cons are of certain things.

Gear is not the only part of these amazing photos, a keen eye is way more important and you sure managed to get that down ;) Still learning a lot over here...

Greets,
(Not-a-Spookje-) Jeroen ;)
